Del 6 al 24 de agosto, Americas Triathlon llevó adelante el Campamento de Entrenamiento ASU-Lima 2026, desarrollado en Asunción, Paraguay, y Lima, Perú, como parte del proceso de preparación de atletas del continente de cara a los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud Dakar 2026 y dentro del programa Team Americas 2026.
El campamento reunió a 23 atletas y 8 entrenadores de 11 países de América, combinando entrenamientos, competencias y actividades de formación en áreas como nutrición, psicología, antidopaje y planificación deportiva.
La iniciativa integró cuatro competencias —entre ellas las Copas Mundo y de Desarrollo de Asunción y las Copas Continentales de Lima—, permitiendo a los atletas trasladar el trabajo realizado durante el campamento directamente al ámbito competitivo.
El programa fue coordinado por Americas Triathlon, con el apoyo de Panam Sports, World Triathlon, los Comités Olímpicos y las Federaciones Nacionales de Paraguay y Perú.

ASU-LIMA 2026 Training Camp
From August 6 to 24, Americas Triathlon held the ASU-Lima 2026 Training Camp in Asunción, Paraguay, and Lima, Peru, as part of the preparation of athletes from across the continent for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games and the Team Americas 2026 programme.
The camp brought together 23 athletes and 8 coaches from 11 countries across the Americas, combining training, competition and educational activities covering areas such as nutrition, sports psychology, anti-doping and training planning.
The programme included four competitions — among them the World Triathlon Cup and Development Cup in Asunción, and the Continental Cups in Lima — allowing athletes to put their preparation into practice in a competitive environment.
The initiative was coordinated by Americas Triathlon, with the support of Panam Sports, World Triathlon, and the National Olympic Committees and National Federations of Paraguay and Peru.
