100% tricolor the podium of the Pan American Triathlon Cup La Paz 2017

100% tricolor with the colors of the Mexican flag was the podium of the fourth edition of the Pan American Cup of the American Confederation of Triathlon (CAMTRI) held in La Paz, Baja California Sur.

  •      Edson Gomez and Adriana Barraza were gold.
  •      Rodrigo González and Vanesa de la Torre conquered the silver.
  •      David Mendoza and Andrea Gutiérrez won bronze

In the men's group 1-2-3 conquered, in an agonizing final sprint, Edson Gomez, Rodrigo Gonzalez and David Mendoza.


Adriana Barraza won the gold in the women's elite category, leaving the silver to Vanesa de la Torre and the bronze to Andrea Gutiérrez.

The La Paz Triathlon also had the presence of 1,324 Age Group athletes who swam and rolled in the sunlight and ran and crossed the finish line under the moon.

The Pan-American Cup La Paz 2017 featured triathlons of distances: sprint (750m swimming, 20k cycling and 5k race), Olympic (1.5k swimming, 49k cycling and 10k race) and for the first time ever the Ironkids for competitors from 4 to 15 years.
