Americas Triathlon Sprint Duathlon Championships Cali 2024
El pasado fin de semana se llevó a cabo el Campeonato Panamericano de Duatlón en Cali, Colombia, donde México se hizo de las primeras posiciones en las divisiones Elite y U23. Los mexicanos David Nuñez y Anahí Alvarez fueron los ganadores de la fecha y se quedaron con los títulos de campeones en las principales categorías.
En la división Elite Men, David Nuñez de México logró conquistar la presea dorada luego de pasar primero por la línea de meta a los 00:56:56 de carrera. El podio masculino lo completaron su compatriota Eduardo Nuñez que se ubicó segundo y Brian Moya de Colombia que finalizó en el tercer lugar.
Con respecto a la categoría femenina, la ganadora de la etapa fue la mexicana Anahí Alvarez. La triatleta de México logró la primera posición y medalla de oro luego de culminar la prueba en un tiempo de 01:02:41. El podio Elite Women lo completaron las colombianas Diana Castillo que se ubicó segunda y Valentina Alvarez que se finalizó tercera.
Por otra parte, en las divisiones de franjas etarias, Eduardo Nuñez y Anahí Alvarez de México fueron campeones en U23. En las categorías Junior, Sebastián Gómez de Colombia y Rayane Cunha de Brasil se quedaron con los primeros lugares.
Cabe destacar, que el Campeonato Panamericano de Duatlón se llevó a cabo luego de una semana completa de formación y entrenamientos en la Universidad San Buenaventura de Cali. Durante los días previos a las competencias, se realizó un nuevo Curso de Entrenadores de la World Triathlon y Americas Triathlon. El mismo estuvo destinado especialmente a instructores de Nivel 1 y contó con la presencia de 14 entrenadores.

2024 Americas Triathlon Sprint Duathlon Championships Calí
Last weekend the Pan American Duathlon Championships took place in Cali, Colombia, where Mexico took the first positions in the Elite and U23 divisions. The Mexicans David Nuñez and Anahí Alvarez were the winners of the date and took the champion titles in the main categories.
In the Elite Men division, David Nuñez from Mexico managed to win the gold medal after crossing the finish line first at 00:56:56 of the race. The men's podium was completed by his compatriot Eduardo Nuñez who placed second and Brian Moya from Colombia who finished in third place.
Regarding the women's category, the winner of the stage was the Mexican Anahí Alvarez. The triathlete from Mexico achieved first position and the gold medal after completing the test in a time of 01:02:41. The Elite Women podium was completed by Colombians Diana Castillo who placed second and Valentina Alvarez who finished third.

It should be noted that the Pan American Duathlon Championship was held after a full week of training and training at the San Buenaventura University in Cali.
