Barbados hosts World Triathlon development projects
From 2-6 May 2023, the Barbados Federation of Island Triathletes hosted the 2023 Bridgetown Americas Triathlon World Triathlon Development Camp, followed by a Technical Officials’ Level One Seminar, as the sport’s growth in the Caribbean took centre stage this month. The seminar covered a range of TO operational topics, from athlete conduct to appeals, start procedures and doping control, and was wrapped up with an open book exam for the participants.

2023 World Triathlon Championship Series Yokohama: Elite men’s highlights
A signature run for New Zealand’s Hayden Wilde was enough to grant the Tokyo Olympics bronze medallist the victory at the World Triathlon Championship Series Yokohama, on a morning that saw a dramatic sprint finish for the rest of the positions on the podium. And it was Australia’s Matthew Hauser the one that found the final speed to claim his second WTCS podium, while Portugal’s Vasco Vilaca managed to keep the third place, enough to make him the new Series leader.
