2018 ITU WC New Plymouth Men’s Race
Australia’s Declan Wilson has produced the race of his career to claim victory in the 2018 ITU New Plymouth World Cup today. In a fast finish New Zealand’s Sam Ward delivered a commanding performance to come home with the silver while America’s Matthew McElroy rounded out the men’s podium to snare the bronze medal.

2018 Abu Dhabi Elite Women Highlights
Starting off the year making the history books, Rachel Klamer (NED) became the 21st woman to ever win an ITU World Triathlon Series race after her season-opening victory at the 2018 ITU World Triathlon Abu Dhabi.
After a smart and conservative race strategy that brought her through the swim and bike, Klamer gave everything she has on the final lap of the run to earn the gold medal and her first WTS victory of her career.

The first-ever 2017 Sarasota ITU World Cup champion was crowned to Mexico’s Rodrigo Gonzalez after he masterfully conquered the debut course. Despite having to serve a penalty, Gonzalez still managed to come out on top to secure his second world cup win and third world cup podium of the 2017 season.

A calm, collected approach from Czech Republic’s Vendula Frintova at the first Huelva ITU World Cup paid huge dividends on Sunday morning as she won gold by an impressive 36-second margin over Canada’s Joanna Brown in a time of 2:01:14. The USA’s Chelsea Burns finished in third, narrowly beating Japan’s Yuko Takahashi to the line thanks to a blistering final flourish.
