2015 ITU World Triathlon Series Edmonton - Elite Women’s Highlights
Vicky Holland (GBR) scorched through the run at the penultimate race of the 2015 World Triathlon Series in Edmonton to score her second World Triathlon win of the year. Behind her, Flora Duffy (BER) and Gillian Backhouse (AUS) completed the podium, with Duffy securing her highest WTS finish ever, while the bronze for Backhouse was her first WTS medal.

2015 ITU World Triathlon Stockholm - Elite Men’s Highlights
Javier Gomez Noya (ESP) is no stranger to the top of the podium, but the one race he had yet to win was the ITU World Triathlon Stockholm. That all changed on July 23rd, 2015 as the Spaniard finally captured the gold medal and was able to proudly add WTS Stockholm to the long list of victories.

Sarah True defended her title as the American dominated the run leg to bring home a back-to-back title in the 2015 ITU World Triathlon Stockholm event. Reclaiming the crown after winning her first WTS title in Stockholm last year, True picked up her first WTS victory of the season with a time of 2:01:05.

Australian Felicity Sheedy-Ryan timed her race to perfection to win the elite women´s triathlon final at the Tiszaujvaros ITU World Cup. Audrey Merle (FRA) took the silver medal and Sara Dossena (ITA) the bronze, both making the podium in a World Cup race for the first time.

Gwen Jorgensen (USA) has won herself yet another gold medal, but this time the gold means a little bit more—she has automatically qualified herself for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games next summer. Breaking away on the third lap of the run, she was able to claim her spot at the 2015 Rio de Janeiro ITU World Olympic Qualification Event on Sunday in front of crowds of local Brazilian people on the beautiful beach side of iconic Copacabana Beach.
