The event was considered a success by the president of the Colombian Triathlon Federation and member of the Colombian Olympic Committee, Jose Luis Echeverry Azcarate: “The efforts to bring such a course into Colombia show the very high level of cooperation among the International, Pan American and National institutions, and represent the strengthening of triathlon development, not only locally but mainly worldwide”, revealed the very pleased president during the certification awards in the last day of the course.

The course was the opener of a week of activities dedicated to triathlon in Colombia, which culminated with the National Aquathlon Championships and a stage of the Colombian Cup Sprint Triathlon during the weekend.
