All Star line up for ITU Oceania Regional Olympic Distance Championships at Geelong!

The Australian Olympic Distance Championships to be held at Geelong on March 27 has attracted a top class elite field including a stellar Kiwi entry list who will be seeking an auto selection for Gamagori. A very competitive age group field is entered many of whom will be vying for a place in the Australian team for the upcoming 2005 Triathlon World Age Group Championships in Hawaii.

The Geelong Waterfront provides one of the best triathlon venues in the world and has previously hosted the ITU Triathlon World Cup events in 2002 and 2003. The swim course is spectacular starting in the Steam Packet Quay and will allow spectators to line the swim start and swim finish areas. The course will feature the Olympic turn buoy and swim exit ramp. The cycle course is a one lap course using both sides of the highway (a first for the event), down the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula and back and the run course is 2 laps all on running paths overlooking Corio Bay.
