Países europeos dominaron en la Copa Mundial de Triatlón que se llevó a cabo este fin de semana en Huatulco, México. Noruega se quedó con el primer lugar en los Mixed Relay, Dinamarca ganó en Elite Women y Países Bajos se hizo del oro en Elite Men.

Un gran fin de semana de acción se vivió en Huatulco, México, donde varios de los mejores triatletas del mundo estuvieron compitiendo en la Copa Mundial durante las pasadas jornadas. La competencia comenzó con las carreras por equipos, donde Noruega dominó y con una marca de 01:20:08 se hizo del primer lugar en el clasificatorio olímpico de Mixed Relay. La segunda ubicación fue para el equipo de Países Bajos y el podio lo cerró el equipo de Hungría.

Con respecto a la división masculina Elite Men, Richard Murray de Países Bajos fue quién se quedó con el título de campeón. Murray pasó primero por la línea de meta a los 00:58:07 de carrera y de esta manera se hizo del primer lugar y medalla de oro. La segunda ubicación fue para el joven canadiense Mathis Beaulieu y el tercer lugar se lo quedó John Reed de Estados Unidos.

En cuanto a la categoría femenina Elite Women, la ganadora de la medalla de oro fue Alberte Kjær Pedersen de Dinamarca. La triatleta danesa logró hacerse de la primera posición luego de finalizar la competencia a los 01:54:04 de carrera. El segundo lugar fue para Rachel Klamer de Países Bajos y cerró el podio en tercera ubicación Solveig Løvseth de Noruega.

Con estos resultados, se da por finalizada la World Triathlon Cup Huatulco 2024. Felicitaciones para los ganadores y para todos los triatletas que formaron parte de este importante evento que direcciona hacía los Juegos Olímpicos de París 2024.

2024 World Triathlon Cup Huatulco

European countries dominated at the Triathlon World Cup that took place this weekend in Huatulco, Mexico. Norway took first place in the Mixed Relay, Denmark won in Elite Women and the Netherlands took gold in Elite Men.

A great weekend of action took place in Huatulco, Mexico, where several of the best triathletes in the world were competing in the World Cup during the past few days. The competition began with the team races, where Norway dominated and with a mark of 01:20:08 took first place in the Olympic Mixed Relay qualifier. The second place went to the team from the Netherlands and the podium was closed by the team from Hungary.

Regarding the Elite Men division, Richard Murray from the Netherlands was the one who took the champion title. Murray crossed the finish line first at 00:58:07 of the race and thus took first place and the gold medal. Second place went to the young Canadian Mathis Beaulieu and third place went to John Reed from the United States.

As for the Elite Women category, the gold medal winner was Alberte Kjær Pedersen from Denmark. The Danish triathlete managed to take first position after finishing the competition at 01:54:04 of the race. Second place went to Rachel Klamer from the Netherlands and Solveig Løvseth from Norway closed the podium in third place.
