Americas Triathlon

Jin Tang, in China hosted the World Triathlon Cup Olympic Distance last Saturday.

Renee Tomlin from USA was the absolute winner in women category, by five seconds over Russian Arina Shulgina. 

The 1.50 km swim course was on an artificial lake.

The bike course was a 6 laps of 6,67 km each one. The terrain was difficult and had good elevation during the course with several up and downs..

The running test was a circuit of 4 laps on level ground

Renee Tomlin, USA, won with a time of 1 hour 58 minutes and 16 seconds. Russian Arina Shulgina was second, five second after Renee.. Third place was Lisa Perterer of Austria. Fourth place was for Summer Cook from USA.

In men, the best place for The American Triathletes in the Americas, was for Kevin Mcdowell from USA,  with a third place behind the champion of the event Ryan Fisher from Australia (1st place) and second place Rostyslay Pevtsov from Azerbaijan. Hunter Kemper from USA was fourth.
